Square sampling templates

These plastic square templates for the analysis of surfaces are sterile and disposable.

The choice to propose plastic disposable square sampling templates and not made of metal or other materials, which can be disinfected and reused, is designed for users who wish to ensure that the disinfection procedures of this tool do not affect the results, in order to ensure that the activity is carried out correctly. For example, if the square sampling template has not been disinfected in the right way (inadequate contact time between disinfectant and the tool), there is a risk of contamination of the area, or it may happen that the disinfectant solution used may spread over the area being sampled and thus distort the analysis results.

How to use the square sampling template for surface analysis:

• Identify and define sampling area by placing above the square template
• Perform sampling (using ATP testing swab, contact plates or sponges)
• Remove the square template from the area.

In order not to distort the result of the analysis, the area within the inner perimeter of the square sampling template must only encounter the collection device used.
